Born in 1963 in Poland. Higher education in Poland and Switzerland. Law degree from the University of Geneva in 1986. Called to the bar in 1991. Former research assistant at the University of Geneva. Former assistant general secretary responsible for legal affairs at a large trade union in French-speaking Switzerland (negotiations, collective agreements, compulsory redundancy plans, individual and group litigation, member of the Council of State consultative commissions in matters of immigration and the labour market).

Former member of the Judges examination board.

Teacher at the Geneva Law School.

Practises employment law.

Ms Laurence Piquerez

Associate since 1st March 2019. 

Originally from the Jura, Ms Laurence Piquerez studied law at the University of Geneva and was admitted to the Bar in the Canton of Jura. For several years, she worked as a legal clerk at the Federal Insurance Court in Lucerne, then as head of the legal department at the Cantonal Disability Insurance Office in Geneva, then again as a legal clerk at the Chamber of Insurance of the Court of Justice in Geneva.
Her interest in criminal justice took her to the public prosecution service in Geneva, where she worked as a prosecutor for seven years. Laurence Piquerez negotiates amicable solutions as a matter of principle, including in legal proceedings. Her work is characterised by an understanding and practical approach.
She practises primarily in the area of criminal law and international legal assistance in criminal matters, social insurance law and family law. She also specialises in out-of-court dispute resolution.

With a Master’s in law, having completed his studies at the universities of Geneva and Berlin, Swan Monbaron began his career as a pupil barrister at the labour court, before moving on to law firm Fontanet & Associés. 

After passing the Bar in 2014, he joined the law firm Borel & Barbey as an associate. He has been practising independently since summer 2018.
As a counsel, Swan Monbaron provides his clients with effective assistance, offering the right solutions in the aim of quickly obtaining the best possible results.
Loyalty and discretion are the key values that help him form lasting, trusting relationships with clients.
Mr Swan Monbaron practises employment law, contract law, social insurance law, immigration law, property law, debt recovery and bankruptcy proceedings, before both civil courts and administrative courts and authorities.

Holder of a BA in Law from the University of Geneva and an MA in Law and Criminology awarded summa cum laude by the University of Lausanne, Caroline FRÖSCH-DELADOEY was called to the bar in Geneva in 2017.  Before obtaining her certificate of specialisation in law in June 2015 and completing her articles at the Geneva  chambers of BARTH & PATEK, Caroline FRÖSCH-DELADOEY worked as a clerk for a year with a prosecutor at the Lausanne district public prosecutor’s office. Caroline FRÖSCH-DELADOEY joined the chambers of BÜRGISSER AVOCATS/ATTORNEYS on 1 November 2017. Trained as a generalist, her particular specialist areas are tenancy law, debt collection and bankruptcy law, divorce and family law as well as general criminal law.
